Fart jokes are truly timeless
A list of the world's oldest jokes was compiled by the UK's University of Wolverhampton. The oldest joke traced back to 1900 BC Sumeria:
"Something which has never occurred since time immemorial; a young woman did not fart in her husband's lap."
OK, maybe it lost something in translation. But you have to admit that it says something about human nature that the oldest bit of written humour is a fart joke.
